Floral wellness sessions are for the general public who are interested in self care and preventative mental health opportunities through creativity and connection in a community setting.  Floral events are not intended as clinical therapy, are not covered through insurance benefits or intended for processing through clinical talk therapy or deep group therapeutic work and do not pertain to this privacy policy.

Blessings to Bloom Wellness  is a counselling and preventative mental wellness clinic that provides individual and couples counselling for individuals, youth and couples. For scheduling, billing, and administrative purposes, we use a Canadian practice management platform, Jane App to manage all bookings, health records, and billing securely. Jane complies with all applicable provincial privacy laws and uses encryption and secure servers to protect your information.

We collect personal information directly from you when you:

  • Complete a form on our website

  • Communicate with us via email or phone​

  • Name

  • Phone number (optional)

  • Details about your counselling needs (e.g., reasons for seeking support)​

We do not store additional information like billing details or health records. Such information is collected and securely stored by Jane App (www.jane.app).

  • To match you with a counsellor based on your needs

We use Jane App (www.jane.app) to manage:

  •  Appointment scheduling

  • Payment processing

  • Client records (where applicable)

Clients who choose telehealth services (online counselling) are conducted through Jane’s secure, end-to-end encrypted platform. Sessions will not be recorded.  Clients must attend from a private and quiet location to maintain confidentiality; sessions cannot proceed if privacy cannot be ensured. By scheduling a virtual appointment, you consent to receive services in this secure, telehealth format.

How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information:

  • Personal information collected on our website is not stored on our servers.

  • Access to sensitive data in Jane App is limited to your assigned counsellor

  • Jane App uses encryption and other industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
     

Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics to improve performance and user experience. This service may collect anonymized data, such as:

  • Your IP address

  • Browser type

  • Pages visited

This data cannot identify you personally.
 

Data Retention

We do not retain personal information collected through our website. Once your information has been used for matching purposes, it is securely deleted. Personal data, such as billing history or appointment records, is securely managed by Jane App.
